Asset Finance case study

Background
Our client a food processing company in the midlands wanted to expand their business by taking on new contracts but required additional delivery vehicles and factory equipment to service the new contracts.

Problem/Opportunity
In total the finance package required was £200k.Their bank had already refused the extra funding due to a previous history of overdraft problems and an unwillingness of our client to use additional personal security.

The Solution
The key to funding this deal was in how it was structured and presented to lenders. The total deal was broken down into a number of component parts and the risk was spread across a variety of specialist lenders. Additionally we supported our client with the presentation of their business plan and financial projections.

Key Benefit to Client
The client was able to expand his business in spite of being rejected initially by his bank.

Deal structure and risk spreading can be the key to success.
