This operation is a well-established, tried and tested online marketing business. It has a clearly defined market place, which is effectively every local government department in the UK (including Northern Ireland).

What it Does:

The business assists local authorities and public sector departments source and procure electronically through its portal.

The web site is a one stop shop for ALL products and Services with over a thousand Classification / Keyword searches and Facility / Company name searches. This makes it both easy and time saving to find a product or service quickly and efficiently.
Research has proved that as much as 70% can be saved by placing a contract/tender electronically as opposed to manually.

By using a database of circa 40,000 named buyers it is able to fax, e-mail and mail shot these individuals inviting them to visit the site.
The Process:

Firstly extensive research is carried out on a specific market sector in order to establish the requirements of local authorities. A telesales team then uses that data and canvasses the business’s who may wish to supply their products or services to local authorities. Advertising space is sold on the website which generates a significant reoccurring income. Presently one hundred and eighty new clients are added per month.
Once a sale is secured a small team will either design an advert or upload an existing company logo onto the web site.

This is a unique business. There is no other enterprise operating in this way in this market sector. There is no competition.
