Business profile:

This Leading International language school has fifteen years of experience and occupies a superbly appointed freehold learning centre situated in a beautiful rural village in the South West of England. The school offers the highest academic standards providing quality English courses for people of all ages, from across the world. Students from eight to twenty one years old make up the bulk of the clients with many “mid life” learners also taking advantage of the available teaching skills.

A complete range of courses meets the needs of beginners, intermediate and advanced linguists.

Private instruction is also available to those who require a “fast fix” or additional assistance. Specially designed programmes for corporate clients with internationally mobile executives are provided for leading International Car Manufacturers and Computer Company’s.

Ninety per cent of the students come from Germany where the company is recognised by the German Government as a key provider of language courses. There is a small local office run by an agent in Nuremberg who handles all bookings, enquiries and travel logistics. The remainder travel from as far a field as Spain, France, Russia, Switzerland, Holland and Poland where there is significant opportunity for expansion.

Accommodation is provided by carefully selected host families within a five-mile radius of the school and lessons are interspersed with organized cultural experiences, sporting activities and leisure pursuits. When full the business can provide for one hundred students.

On arrival the students are personally collected from the airport by the Directors of the business giving a door-to-door service and level of care that many parents have come to trust implicitly. The business has built a reputation of providing a superb student experience (both academic and cultural) and courses last for between two and three weeks

Premises:

The property is included in the transaction and represents part of the valuation.

The premises are a substantial converted family residence, which provides outstanding facilities with all amenities in a number of classrooms that are spacious, comfortable and bright. They are all equipped with a variety of audio and visual aids. There are also a number of available teaching facilities off site for periods of peak demand.
In addition there is one administrative office, a staff kitchen and rest room.

Staff:
